Junior Tennis has a Main Squeeze

He’s the guy everyone wants to be seen with! He captivates with his colorful personality drawing an international crowd and is known as a regular on the Miami scene. Is it wrong to wish I could have met this guy when I was playing junior tennis AND to admit I still have a bit of a crush on him to this day?!

Meet Jobie--the dashing character and spirit of Junior Orange Bowl Tennis. His whimsical name is based loosely on the cap letters in: ‘Junior Orange Bowl…’ he's jovial for sure; but Jobie means business!

Orange Bowl Tennis has harvested and seen more champions sprout from their Main Draw seeding, it’s as if they own their own orange grove and bottling facility! The tournament has drawn the likes of Chrissie Evert, Jimmy Connors, Monica Seles, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Mary Jo Fernandez, Andy Murray and so many more. The ‘C’ may stand for ‘Championships’ but in our minds it would be more suiting to say it represents an ultimate vitamin-C of sorts for producing healthy young tennis stars.

This month marks the 53rd year for the Orange Bowl Championships for both the 12 and 14 & under tennis players from around the world! Over 1,450 players from 74 countries set up shop in South Florida to battle it out December 14-23. We’re lucky to have a slice of the action by being present via print in each players goodie bag and with our unique wristbands and sweatbands being made available at the tournament tables. We're delighted and honored!

Thank you Jobie!
